2027 Dodge Charger Super Bee Unveiled With 600 Horsepower

Dodge today revealed the 2027 Dodge Charger Super Bee, a new performance package that brings back the iconic Super Bee nameplate for the modern era. Under the hood of the new model is a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Hurricane inline-six producing 600 horsepower, making it the most powerful six-cylinder Charger ever. The Super Bee is also a big change from earlier models in that it does not use a V8 engine.

Super Bee with 600-hp Hurricane engine

The Super Bee uses a modified version of Dodge’s high-output Hurricane inline-six. Thanks to larger Garrett turbochargers, a revised intake and cooling systems and other performance upgrades, the engine is tuned for 600 horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque.

Power is sent through an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive system. Dodge’s latest performance hardware helps the Super Bee sprint to 60 mph from a standstill in roughly 3.6 seconds, and it covers the quarter-mile in about 11.8 seconds.

Performance benefits from track hardware

Dodge didn’t just upgrade the engine. The Super Bee gets new suspension parts, adaptive dampers, stiffer springs and bushings, and a beefier rear stabiliser bar. It rolls on 20-inch wheels shod with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 summer tyres.

Better stopping power with improved Brembo brakes. The larger rear spoiler contributes to the more aggressive look and aerodynamic performance, and the front splitter has also been redesigned to generate more downforce at high speeds.

More control with new drive modes

The Super Bee is built for both the drag strip and the road course. Dodge has added dedicated Drag and Track drive modes to help drivers dial in the vehicle for different performance situations.

There is also a steering-wheel control to activate rear-wheel-drive mode, which allows drivers to have more control over the car’s behaviour. In the interior, the Super Bee gets more heavily bolstered seats and performance gear built for spirited driving.

Limited Launch Edition to Enthusiasts

The 2027 Charger Super Bee will debut as a limited-production Launch Edition. Dodge has made unique exterior colours and Super Bee graphics available to set the model apart from other Charger variants.

The vehicle also includes exclusive wheels, performance-inspired styling cues and special badging. Dodge hasn’t released final pricing but the Super Bee is expected to sit above the current Charger Sixpack Scat Pack in the lineup.
