DJI Osmo Pocket 4P Launch – The rumoured DJI Osmo Pocket 4P is said to come with a dual lens camera system, as well as a host of new features for vloggers, travellers and social media creators. The small hand-held device seems to add more shooting flexibility while keeping the mechanical stabilisation and portable design of the Osmo Pocket line.

With a dual lens setup, creators would be able to switch perspectives without having to add external lenses or lug around more gear. This will make the camera more suitable for fast-paced shoots that require users to capture wide vistas, tight close-ups and personal commentary.

Dual-Lens Camera Fuels Creativity

The biggest upgrade is that it has 2 more camera lenses added.

A lens for travel videos, group shots and landscapes with a classic wide-angle look. The second might provide an alternate focal length for portraits, tighter shot framing or detail shots.

Creators could shoot more diverse video from one location if they could switch lenses quickly. It can also lessen the need for digital cropping that sometimes can impair the quality of the image.

Video Quality Improvements For Pro Creators

DJI is expected to deliver improved resolution, dynamic range and low-light performance.

A bigger or better image sensor could mean cleaner footage for indoor and night shoots. Better processing could reduce noise while maintaining detail in bright skies and shadowed areas.

Delivering higher frame rates could allow for better slow motion capture and more advanced colour profiles could give experienced editors more control in post-production.

Still a big plus is stabilisation. Mechanical

The Osmo Pocket line is famous for using a physical gimbal to keep video stable.

The Pocket 4P could be updated with new stabilisation algorithms, faster reaction to movement and better horizon control. These changes may make walking footage seem more stable and help the camera cope with sudden changes in direction.

Better subject tracking could also help solo creators keep a subject in focus as they move through a scene.

Audio Upgrades for Vloggers

Interviews, tutorials, travel videos – clear audio is a necessity.

DJI could improve the built-in microphones and the wind-noise reduction, while keeping the compatibility with its wireless microphone systems. Direct wireless microphone support would help creators capture clearer dialogue without having to fiddle with complicated adapters.

Actual performance will vary based on mic placement, outdoor conditions and accessory compatibility.

The display and battery could be better

A larger or brighter screen could make it a bit easier to frame up and navigate through the menus.

Outdoor visibility is essential for travel creators who are often shooting in direct sunlight. Battery efficiency will be better too but don’t expect high res and high frame rate recording to be any less power hungry.

Fast charging would allow creators to add more battery in between shoots during the short breaks.”

Small size makes it easy to create content on the go

The Osmo Pocket 4P will be small enough to fit in a pocket or a small bag.

The portability is a plus compared to the larger camera and gimbal combos. Favoured by YouTubers, TikTokers, journalists, families and travellers alike, this device gives you stable footage without the hassle of complex devices.

It would be more useful with filters, grips, tripods, wireless mics and extra lenses.
